In Pakistan, adolescents are growing up in a rapidly changing digital environment that brings both new opportunities and significant risks. Many young people especially those in underserved areas struggle with challenges such as cyberbullying, online exploitation, and harassment. Cultural barriers and social stigma often make it difficult for them to speak up or seek help.
To address these concerns, Khwendo Kor (KK), under the NCA Project, organized a two-day training on Prvention against cyber and physical harassment for adolescent boys and girls across ten school which include five girls School and five boys School . Through this initiative, Khwendo Kor trained 300 students across ten schools in Peshawar. The training aimed to raise awareness about digital safety, personal boundaries, consent, and respectful behavior, while equipping participants with the skills needed to identify, prevent, and respond to both online and offline harassment.
Through interactive discussions and practical activities, students learned how to navigate the digital world more safely, build self-confidence, and promote mutual respect within their communities. Khwendo Kor will continue to work closely with partners, schools, and communities to strengthen protection mechanisms, enhance digital literacy, and encourage positive behavioral change among youth.
